Every third Thursday of the month, a diverse group of craftsmen, engineers, artists, community builders and planners meet in a 100 year-old townhouse in Kyoto. The one thing that connects them? An interest in NFTs and how this technology is being used or could possibly be used, especially within the context of Kyoto’s ancient yet very much alive traditions.

This summer, come meet with NFT builders in the Kansai area, while perusing a selection of traditional crafts, artwork and food on sale in the concurrently running Crypto Crafts Marche. There will be a lightning round of presentations by the projects and artisans exhibiting.

About Kyoto NFT Meetup

Every month, selected presenters get 10 minutes to talk about their projects and ideas. Another 10 minutes is given to the floor to discuss and give feedback on the project. Kyoto NFT Meetup is open to all, regardless of experience or knowledge. Presentations are also not limited to executed projects, seed ideas seeking feedback are also welcome.

Participants can use this gathering to find teammates, refine their ideas and learn about what others are doing in web3 in the Kansai area. The aim is to make this monthly gathering the place in Kansai where anyone can learn more about NFTs and web3.
